KNOW WHEN TO HOLD IT , FOLD IT ,
OR GET OUT OF DODGE
During the dog days of summer it is easy to become discouraged and sometimes downright depressed because business is slow or maybe sales are almost non-existent. These conditions are not limited to
e-tailers. Brick and mortar businesses pull their hair out at this time of year as well.
These dog days can be the worst of times for doing business, but they can also be the most fantastic times for assessment, revaluation, revamping, planning and preparation for the fall and winter seasons.
If you are in the black for the year and have a plan in place for fall and winter, then you are in the position of hold it. You may want some help with minor tweaking.
If you are just a hair above or below, even then you are in the position of fold it. Tread water and do nothing until you assess, evaluate, and develop a marketing plan. You may want to start with a free site consultation with
www.rnp-inc.com then reenter the
market and follow your plan.
If you are financially, mentally, physically and emotionally wiped out, you are in the position of get out of Dodge. But then you do realize that you are not alone, many of the big boys are falling as well. (Just read the papers.) When and if you ever decide to go back into e-commerce
